Colorado Passes Red Flag Law

As discussed in the below-linked article, Colorado has just joined ten other states in passing a Red Flag Law, whereby a judge can temporarily order the confiscation of a gun from an individual reported to be a danger to himself or others by a family member or by police.
Another article indicated that up to fifty percent of Colorado's county sheriffs have indicated that they will not enforce this law.
This could result in an interesting conundrum---what to do in the event that a law enforcement officer refuses to enforce a law.
