It was an odd connection, but it felt instant. Solaris felt emotionally connected with this young mare even without knowing her name. She almost felt like she didn't even need to know anything about her. Solaris felt comforted, more comfortable than she had in a long time even living in a place surrounded by family. No one really wanted her here because they loved her. At least that is how she felt. The Fjord lays her neck against her own and it was that act that began to bring her back from her crying fit.

A few shaking fits of shutters later, and it was over.

She felt exhausted, but she is unable to move because she is so relaxed. She was soon asleep. It is unknown how long she slept, but she wakes to a dark sky twinkling with stars. It was the same stars she gazed up at every night since her birth wishing for a better life. She wished for someone to love her. One day she would escape this place and find herself in someone else's strong embrace. Perhaps she had already found the embrace she was looking for.

The filly realizes she has been cuddled up with this stranger for who knows how long. "I just love the stars. They are so beautiful." She smiles as she watches the bright glows of various sizes against the black sky. She rises to her hooves and shuffles around to face the red filly. She was embarrassed she fell asleep sobing next to a stranger. Of course this filly had been sobbing too. "I apologize for my outburst. I am fine now, but are you okay?" She smiles at the red filly and gives her a quick wink. Why? She didn't know. Perhaps she was flirting..Solaris has never met an outsider before.
