Our latter day thin skinned social naifs could learn something from what one of our classmates told me once after he was warmly welcomed back to our class and USNA and could get a class ring and wear it. proudly I had asked "John "Doc" Raiford, how life treated hm . Docs reply was " IT could had been better, and it could have been worse. He was a helluva great human being.
