July 15th 2019. I was riding my bicycle between Groton and Westford around 2pm on Rte 40. I believe I was beyond Old Dunstable Road in the direction of Westford. A cat like animal bounded in from my left across the road about 100 ft in front of me and disappeared into the woods on my right. It turned its head towards me. It made contact with the road twice in a more cat-like motion than dog-like. I thought it was a bobcat at first then realized it had a long tail. It was the size of a medium sized dog and too small for a full-sized mountain lion. Anyone else seen something similar in the Groton Westford area?
