Meadow

Rougaru was feeling pretty proud of himself lately. While he knew deep down that there was still the matter of Shamwari that needed attending to, for the time being, he would let it sit and simmer. Rougaru knew without a doubt that the red stallion felt him beneath his skin... felt him like an annoying splinter that could not quite be reached. Yes he would let the wound fester for awhile longer. He had taken the stallion's mare Sanibel and already she was starting to grow round with the evidence of his unborn child. It was nearing the time that he would release her back to him, let that wound rot.

Rougaru had stopped the little young stallion from taking his pretty little dove. Though more often than not lately he felt she was more deserving of the name falcon or viper. She had a way of stinging him with her defiance and yet it made him feel even more desperate to keep her close. He was always one to collect pretty things and keep them close.

Speaking of which.

Keen sonars catch the muffled voices of nearby companions. Depthless multifaceted green eyes transfix upon the duo that stands lost in conversation not far from him. The initial irritation and anger that he felt when discovering his pretty little painted bird in the company of the blue roaned colt had long ebbed away as sights fall upon the pretty cream colored mare. She was not dainty and small like some of the other mares he had come across, but there was a sense of beauty and elegance that clung to her like a great queen's flowing cloak. She held her head high, as though a crown of jewels hung there, invisible to the naked eye. Her skin held the healthy sheen of a mare born far from these parts, a mare unfamiliar with what struggles could befall the islands. He was familiar with such mares, some, acted entitled and regal and yet there was something in the softness of this female's voice and the subtle womanly curve of her hip that tells him he doubts that she is one of these.

For a single moment he lets his eyes befall her companion. He his not familiar to Rougaru, but the scents that cling to his sand colored skin speaks of the deserts he had once called home. A single dial twitches towards the stallion but well, lets be perfectly honest, the stallion is not what brings him towards them.

Jaded eyes transfix upon the elegant beauty as the large stallion allows his own proud head to dip ever so slightly in greeting. "You find yourself on the islands of the lost." he murmurs, stopping just before the pretty girl with eyes the color of the noon day sky. For the briefest of moments he lets his gaze travel to her male companion. A single dial flickers in the stallions direction but he does not let his attention linger upon him for long. That was not what brought him here.

Emerald eyes turn once more to the bright eyed beauty. Ears perk amid the tangle of wind swept cream and caramel locks. Paper thin nostrils flare as he takes the opportunity to inhale her sweet exotic scent. A warm smile plasters upon his whiskered features as the coffee colored stallion tipped his large head towards her. "My name is Rougaru, leader of the island of Atlantis just to the east of here." he says pausing a moment to let his words settle between them. This part was meant as much to her as to the stallion, it was time he proclaimed himself to the others who resided upon the islands. It was true that Shamwari and Warsaw knew him... and that annoying young blue stallion that seemed more of a loaner than anything.

"Do you intend the join the rest of us lost ones? I can assure you that you will find welcome among us." he finishes doing his best to offer her his most debonaire smile.
