It had been about five days now that she had had this little bundle of joy with her. She did indeed enjoy her daughter. Her coloring still shocked her but perhaps there was something to the coloring that god only knew why. The little Filly that she had named after her mother Neferyt was a bundle of energy. The little filly constantly made her jog to keep up with her always testing her little legs. However; It had been about four or so days since she saw vita Nova and four nights ago she could of sworn she heard a pain filled cry but due to having Neferyt she had not dared to investigate. She was begging to worry about her best friend.
Did a predator get her? However; as she grazed with Neferyt now nursing her ears flicked and her nostrils flared. Finally, she smelt and heard the approach of Vita and two little foals behind her. From this distance she couldn't tell the gender but they looked healthy. She immediately called out to her friend and nudged her daughter before trotting down to see Vita.I was worried you've been gone for so longShe nickered.
Neferyt nursed from her mother till she was nudged and she watched her mother head down to greet another mare. The five day old filly eyed the two little ones following the mare and slowly moved after her mother. Her mother then looked back at her. Neon looked to her daughter.I named her Neferyt after my momShe said to Nova. What of yours?She asks.
