live life to the fullest

Creed's eyes moved to the stallion standing not too far away. She snorted softly, knowing he was there to be Hannah's support, but she didn't know him. Still, if Hannah trusted him, then she could, too, right? She swished her tail and tossed her head but held her ground. She could smell him on Hannah and vice versa so she had to assume this was Tarek, the stallion Hannah had been telling her about, her true love. The thought made Creed smile as she pricked her ears and watched him interact with Yngvar. He seemed like he was a good father to the colt. Creed watched as the colt pinned his ears and said he didn't want a sibling. She smirked a little, sure that Tarek could convince him otherwise.

When Hannah said that it was time, she nodded and sighed, shaking her head. "Wow, you're the one about to give birth and I'm feeling nervous." She smirked at herself. When Hannah started to walk, she followed in her wake, not wanting to get in the mare's space but pricking her ears to listen as Hannah spoke. Creed's nostrils wrinkled when she talked about the mess it would make to give birth but she nodded along, listening carefully. Hannah then asked her not to freak out, saying that there would be blood and she would be in pain so she would make noise. Creed let out another big exhale. "Okay, I'll stay calm. For you and the baby." She smiled, getting excited at the very thought of seeing a foal get born.

As Hannah started pushing and pacing, she moved to the edge of the clearing, not wanting to be in the way. She watched carefully as Hannah gave birth, cringing and wincing with the other mare as she had contractions. She could tell Hannah was in pain and she wished there was some way she could help but she remembered the older mare's words and remained calm. She gasped as the head as seen but kept her words to herself, her hooves practically dancing in place but she held her ground, not wanting to distract Hannah. When the foal came out, it was definitely messy and Creed couldn't help the way she wrinkled her nostrils and snorted softly, but she stayed to watch as Hannah cleaned the foal with her tongue. "That can't taste good." She muttered to herself.

She was enraptured as Hannah helped the colt to stand, watching it struggle on its spindly legs and then go to Hannah to drink milk. When Hannah spoke, she had to shake her head to get out of her trance of watching the foal, nodding. "Yeah, sure. Wow, he sure is hungry." She smiled. When the foal was finally done, Hannah said it was time to head back and she nodded, following them back back to the stallion and colt. She couldn't stop watching the colt. It was such a treat. "Hannah, I can't thank you enough for this. I really learned a lot today."
