Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

As Collision Course led the way to the water, Gent and Diamant followed obligingly, with Gent in the lead and Diamant bringing up the rear, quiet as usual. When Collision enquired about their plans once they arrived back in the Lagoon, Gent spoke for the both of them.

“Oh, you know. Havoc and hellfire. The usual in the Lagoon.” Gent flashed Collision a mocking smile as they splashed into the cool water. In truth, they had no plans. This was quite normal for Gent, who thrived on the lack of responsibility, but part of him worried that the lack of structure and routine of a normal herd would be hard on Diamant. With his head injury, however, all Diamant was capable of right now was recovering. At least with Gent here to keep an eye on him, and Jetta and Wade right next door in the Peak, he would have familiar faces around to provide support if he spiralled into one of his many dark moods.

The Lagoon being right on the island, they didn’t have far to go. They crossed the Lagoon waters in record time, and soon enough all three of them were clambering out onto the sand. Gent noticed immediately how much stronger the scent of stallion was than it had been last time. It was delightfully disgusting. “Home sweet home, eh big brother?” Gent teased Diamant, who was looking at the place with an expression that could only be described as uncertain.

“If you say so,” Diamant muttered.

Gent gave his speckled coat a good shake before turning to Collision. “The place smells much livelier than it was when I left. And if I know the Lagoon, that means mischief. So that’s the gossip, brother? What’s the Lagoon doing these days?”
