Bran isn't the only one to be facing difficult changes now. Nattergal and Havelle don't remember life outside of Paradise. Liland isn't much more than a stranger to them, and neither of them have ever seen their mother cry. Something feels so terribly wrong about this move to the Bay. Zjeena has kept her conflicts with Liland, and her relations with Rougaru from their young ears. She's never spoken ill of their father, but there is something about him that sets them uneasy.

Regardless, they heed the firm directions of an adult and reluctantly leave their mother behind, crying into Liland's shoulder. They follow the tail of their sister, Rayna, another near-stranger to them, but at least Rayna feels safe. She makes small talk, about how good it is to have them home. They both have the same thought. This isn't home. Paradise is.

A cold autumn breeze whips over the rocky terrain. The twins keep close to each other. Shoulder-to-shoulder they touch, and they both shiver, coats much too thin for this climate. Desert born, and paradise raised Tinuvel is going to take some getting used to.

Rayna leads them some distance away and introduces them to Bran, another sibling of theirs they assume. Havelle offers a "Hey." in greeting. Nattergal only offers a weak smile.
