He nods his head almost sheepishly as he offers her his name and a soft my bad. Amusement flashes through her pale eyes as she begins to let the tension ease away from the muscles in her lithe form. Noctis he calls himself, his proud head dipping as he goes on to inform her of his mother. Larka was not one who was well known, or at least, she had not known many mares. In fact, she had made it a point NOT to know Rougaru's herd or his mares. She had even made a point to keep a distance from the painted mare that Liland had stolen from his herd. Where ever the dark stallion went, chaos and destruction seemed to follow.

"Noctis..." she breathes tilting her head to the side as dark strands of her forelock tumble over thick lashes. She offers him a warm smile. "It is a very nice name Noctis... but I am afraid I have no idea who your mother is. Her name does not sound familiar to my ears." she breathes, her ears flexing backwards dismissively. He tilts his head towards the gathered herd, his words inviting and welcoming even. She was sure that they were not terrible mares, Larka found it hard to see the bad in others. Liland had made it easy. He wore his emotions on his skin and his erratic behavior was clear indicators of this. Larka meets Noctis' friendly tones with a more somber expression. She gives her sleek neck a quick shake. "Thank you Noctis, but no. I do not want to meet the others. Not yet anyway." she breathes, pausing for a moment before continuing on. "It is just all so different, so new. I am not quite sure I plan to stay here long." she murmurs, her gaze turning once more towards the distant horizon. "I don't belong here." she finishes.
