She certainly seemed like a confident mare. Outgoing and not at all awkward with company. He looked forward to getting to know her. She had a light in her eyes like she liked to explore the world around her. When he asked if he said her name right, she said that he did and he smiled a little wider, glad that he didn't brutalize it. As he nudged his head, they started to walk and he fell into step with her, letting her pick the pace as they looked around. He was a herd animal and it wasn't a bad life, being surrounded by all those stallions, but every once in a while, he liked a feminine face to talk to. He asked if she'd tried the grass yet and she said that she did. She said it was much better than the grass where she came from, describing it as dry and not sweet. He scowled in sympathy.

"Ugh, that sounds awful." When he asked about her history with islands, she said that she was used to oceans and shores but not islands. She said that she was enjoying it though. When she asked about him, he rolled his shoulders in a shrug. "Can't say I've had much experience with big bodies of water or islands. Most of the water I saw growing up was lakes and streams, nothing so big as an ocean. Nothing with waves. I knew how to find good grass, but it didn't have the salt taste it does here. The swims can be refreshing when it's hot, but I don't know if I'll enjoy it so much when the weather cools down." He smirked a little as he thought about the icy waters in the winter. Then she pointed out a sandy spot and he grinned. "Good job! Perfect spot. You get first dibs since you spotted it."

He stepped off to the side to allow her to roll, patiently waiting until she was done before he moved into the spot and lowered himself to his stomach with a groan. Stretching his neck out, he snorted before rolling with a grunt. He did it a few times, getting both sides and his back really good before he finally stretched out his front legs and heaved himself back to his hooves. With a good shake that sent up a dust cloud, he grinned at Andreania and made his way back to her side. "You have to admit, that felt GOOD."
