She didn't blame the stallion for challenging Shaydowfax. She knew it was really no one's fault. Shaydowfax knew the risks when she took on the role of lead mare and became pregnant. Challenges are always possible. She was glad that Shaydowfax was okay after the battle though. She found the stallion off to the edge of the herd, seemingly watching the other mares. She wondered if he might already know one or two of them and she'd seen some activity around the borders like new mares might be coming in. Maybe the stallion had already made some friends outside of a herd. How interesting. He looked her way when she gave a nicker and gave his own in return. Her ears perked forward as her tail gave a swish and she made her way toward him. When he moved, she noticed the wince and her brow furrowed in concern. She was a gentle mare by nature unless the situation called for otherwise and she had no problem with the stallion. She knew pain came with battle but that didn't mean she couldn't offer to help. "Your shoulder...are you hurt badly? Do you need anything?" It was the least she could ask. He gave his name as Bahadir and said he was the son of someone called Orhan. She nodded and dipped her head in respect to his new title. "Pleasure to meet you, Bahadir." Then he asked what brought her here and she smiled politely, one ear flicking to the side. "Well, I arrived on the islands and found myself in the Common. Shaydowfax found me there and invited me to the Dunes. I like it here so I stayed." She tilted her head a little, studying him before she gave a gentle snort. "What brings you to the Dunes? I didn't know the Salem had such an appeal." She smirked a little, her eyes glittering as she considered the land around them. It wasn't exactly paradise, but to her, it was home. What did others see in the lands, she wondered? Why did he want to live here?
