live life to the fullest

At least Evren didn't seem upset with her or anything. Was she worried? Creed couldn't tell at first. Was there something to be worried about? She glanced back over her shoulder at the waves, a rattling snort leaving her nostrils. Hopefully she wasn't doing the wrong thing, being out here. She was trying to face her fear but was she risking her life in the meantime? Surely Evren would tell her if so. Creed had never seen anyone else act so scared of the water like she did. Evren then gave a smile and stepped forward into the water herself. Creed pricked her ears as the paint gasped. "Cold, huh?" She said with a small smirk, her eyes twinkling. She wasn't even quite sure she could feel her legs by this point. Were they numb? Maybe. She shifted her weight again, feeling her hooves sinking deeper into the sand beneath the waves.

It was a little harder to hold her balance out here, but she just thought that was natural. It's not like she'd ever stood in the water before, not for long anyway. Evren came up beside her and said she was making great progress. Creed felt her head lift up, her eyes glowing under the paint mare's praise. Then Evren said to read the ocean and the black mare's ears flicked uncertainly. What did she mean, read it? Creed looked around as if there were instructions printed somewhere. She followed the other mare's gaze then, listening as she told her that the waves were blocking out the horizon and that meant they could pull her under. Creed gasped and shivered at the thought. As Evren lowered her head, Creed did the same, wanting to make sure she knew exactly what the bay and white mare was talking about.

She spoke then of the cold and Creed nodded in understanding and agreement on this one. The water was pretty cold. Evren gave that as another warning flag, that it could take away her senses and she could drown. Creed's eyes widened, the whites rolling as she swished her tail with another fearful snort. The paint then said they were safe there but the tide was coming in and it would rise quickly. She was already shaking her head before Evren even got done with her question. "Maybe not today. I think I'll call it quits." She said with a sheepish smile, starting to make her way to shore but she made sure that Evren came back with her cause now she didn't have just herself to worry about anymore. She'd hate for Evren to fall prey to anything she just talked about after warning Creed herself about it.

Once they were safely back on shore, Creed shook out her coat and turned back to the paint. "Sorry if I worried you. I'll wait till it warms up and try again. I just...want to help out more." She admitted in defeat.
