Move in the Darkness

guarner

The queen of the dunes had faught for persephone. She had heard cries all around, hoof hitting sking, teeth clicking together. She moved off to investigate everything and when she found the two closest combatants it had been Warsaw and Bahadir. What she didn't realize was that there was a prize for the victor and that price was her. It all happened too fast for her as Bahadir had lost the Quarrel and Warsaw made his move on her. What ever happened with the rest of the war she didn't know. She had dove back into the ocean and swam for the dunes. She didn't know whether to be mad at Bahadir or Warsaw. In a way Warsaw was just doing what all stallions do to win new mares. Bahadir had wanted to be lead her in the dunes and she thought him worthy enough when he beat her in battle. But he couldn't defeat Warsaw. Was the rest of the herd safe with him? She bid Kalona farewell and that she would be back soon enough. She was ignoring Warsaws lingering form behind her.

Then keeping her youngest son close to her she lunges back into the water but keeps a close eye on her youngest son. This was his first time making the swim anywhere and she worried like any mother would worry. He may be earless but the colt seemed quiet strong as he kept up with his mother.

Soon they reached the shore of the inlet and instead of shaking herself out like normally she would she spins around at Warsaw and keeping herself between her colt and him she glares. And what do you think you'll get out of this? You think you can make me bow down to you? Well I won't. Never will I bow down to a stallion, especially not one like you She seeths at him and snaps her teeth at him in warning.

Sauron follows his mother into the ocean. He didn't know who this stallion was but it was clear his mother wasn't happy so he did not protest when he left his brothers side to join her in the swim to the inlet. When on the shore he stands behind her as she confronts this stallion with anger. His none existant ears would of been back if he had some. He keeps behind his mother but peers around her at the stallion.
