She knew the paint stallion had been brought to Paradise as a captive but she paid him little mind most of the time. Rougaru had already seen to it that he knew his place and it seemed the older mare Celestria was the one responsible for bringing him there in the first place. Why she wanted another stallion around was hardly any of Monster's concern. After all, Monster still had a bone to pick with the mare for vying for Rougaru's crown not so long ago. Maybe the mare thought the others were just going to ignore her now, but that was just the appetizer. Monster had plenty more in store for her. Even though Rougaru might have softened up and forgave the mare, Monster was anything but forgiving. Her teeth gnashed at just the thought even as she trailed the overo stallion onto the island of Luthien. The war was already in session and Monster had said her good byes to Medusa, knowing that Zjeena would be right on her tail as well soon enough.

Monster was biding her time, not so eager to just jump in. No, she would jump in with purpose. And so it came as the chestnut paint stalked Rougaru himself, apparently waiting for the Paradise king's back to be turned before he would attack. Coward move. Even as the stallion launched after him, Monster let out a scream of defiance and dashed after him. As the stallion aimed to run right into Rougaru, she placed herself on the the other side and rammed her shoulder toward the stallion's flanks, aimed to throw him off balance hopefully before he could even reach Rougaru, or at least throw off his momentum so he could do less damage. When the stallion spun around, she followed, launching herself to the side so she would be out of range of his kick while lunging her head toward the soft skin in front of his flanks to get a good bite and make him think twice about leaving himself open like that.

She dance back then and stomped her hoof on the ground, screaming at him again as her ears flattened and her tail gave an angry swish. "You chase him and I'll chase you. Kapesh, Spot? Now, let's dance."
