She just didn't understand these colts and what was so fascinating about the water. It was cold and she hated how her body felt all wet and heavy with salt. Water drips from her body where her half brother had soaked her front with the sea. Some salt got into her eyes and stung in a way she never wanted to feel again. It was this moment that the filly decides she would never be crossing the sea. I mean never! Her head shakes as she walks away from the colts, trying to rid the salt from her eyes. It wasn't working, but she found the tighter and longer she held her eyes closed the better they felt.
She could hear her brothers talking about her behind her back and this makes her snort. She was not amused by these colts at all and she had no intention of coming back to play even as Legolas begins to follow her. She only responds with a snort and the stomping of one hoof, but she never looks back at them. It was Akello who causes her to stop. His softer expression and kinder words were easier to deal with, but she didn't think she could stand to play with both of them again. "Exploring sounds fun, but I don't know if I want to play with him."
She glances back at Legolas with a glare before turning her brown eyes back to Akello. He was obviously the smarter of the brothers.
