Your river of judgment
She tries to zone in on the sound in the distance, but it was strange to interpret. It sounded like someone was screaming, but the voice was not from an adult. It sounded funny actually, but she had no room to judge how this herd spent their time. She wasn't doing anything too excited back in the Badlands but playing with the herd mares and Kimber. It was only today that she decides to do something out of the ordinary and find some new playmates. She wasn't about to venture far and since she already knew the Desert she felt safe to play here.
A smile spring on her lips as a colt appears among the sand. He was uniquely colored, sandy and white with strange stripes running down his body. Jordan remembers seeing him before while she nursed from the sandy mare Vihaan, but she had only nursed from that mare once. Usually, it was the mare Primrose with her daughter Paisley (who wasn't that kind to her taking milk) and sometimes it was the large mare Gevena with her son. She didn't know the name of the boys and she only knew the filly's name because her mother had scolded her a handful of times while she was there.
The colt speaks, asking who she was and why she was here. "Hey, my name is Jordan. I came here to find new playmates other than my sister. I remember seeing you before when mother would bring me to get milk." Her tail wags behind her as she assumes this colt could be someone she was looking for. He looks about her age so she assumes he will want to play. "Wanna play with me?" There was no hesitation when she asks the question. This was what she traveled here for after all.
