Meadow

Part of him knew his father only meant to make them strong and work for what they want but he still felt like the low man on the totem pole at home. Which is why he was agitated and wanted a rank. He didn't want to be the low man on the totem any more. His fathers words that his mother abandoned him for selfish reasons still weighted on him as well. Even though he understood his mother. She left him there because she felt he should learn from his father since he had lived there since he was born. She wanted to take him with her but she couldn't bring herself to do it.

His ears flick a few times but he does not look around at first. He does feel a presence near by and when the other lowers his head for a quick drink he see's the stallion beside him and finally he looks up to study the stallion. After everything that happened with his parents he did not want to fall for a mare, he did not want to love a mare.

The stallion finally speaks and he listens. Did this stranger really want to hear his ramblings? Despite not knowing him or his name he felt rather calm with this stallions presence. Not sure how much good it would do me to talk about it. He said quietly finally.I'm NoctisHe says to see if he can get the other to speak his name. After all if he was gonna tell him his problem he might as well know his name right? He didn't know who this stallion was but maybe he could run away with him. The idea was tempting but he spoke nothing of it.
