Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Paint my skin with the blood of my enemies.

The only place she wanted to be was back in the wasteland where she had been born. Even confronted with a land that was plentiful in food and water, and where the weather was mild, she preferred to be in the belly of the desert.

She wanted her revenge.

Yazheen feels no pity for the boy, knowing that her mother had always given her harsh words and even harsher lessons. Her scars had been earned at the teeth of her mother, with only a few from her enemies. It had been a rough life, and the speckled woman feels no pity for a child that the name of their father, let alone that he had been concerned with being involved in their life.

“Perhaps you should have listened better.” She states over her shoulder, knowing that her own mother would have punished her ignorance with teeth and a swift kick. Crying would have done little but to incite the wrath of the desert beauty, and so Yazheen had learned to bite her tongue and take the abuse in silence. “I can’t think of what else needs to be learned. Eat or be eaten.”

Her pace is slow as she picks over the fallen foliage of the lagoon, her strong legs dragging across the snow and her head stooping only a little, her nostrils flaring as she breathes in the musty stench of palomino stallion that had sent her here. “Kicking and screaming. But I did not make is easy for him.” She answers Noctis proudly, knowing that Cullen had no doubt been nursing old wounds when he had come across her, and likely was licking his wounds after his encounter with her, leaving her to lead the young stallion into the belly of the lagoon on her own.
