but its too early for bed!

Every day was something new. Every day had a new light, sparkling and beautiful and even with a mark of another who had just had to claim her, well, so be it. It wasn’t the end of her story, and she’d go to this place she’d been asked to would just have to wait for another day.

There wasn’t really anything going through her head beyond the feeling of peace and tranquillity. It was both boring, but a wonderful feeling to have - especially after such a story she’d been told. She’d be walking into that insanity soon, but it was good to have this moment. As much as Leyra looked to every day with vigour, she did her best to ignore what was behind her.

The stranger, who had his head low but had not actually had a drink (so she thinks) she turned her attention to him. He was taller than she but of a similar build, she noted, not too different. His head was peculiar, dished but the opposite of what she found the very slender, light types to be. It was strange and truth is told, Leyra did kinda stare a little before she recovered her wits.

Don’t be a rude git, you moron, she thinks to herself.

“Please. Leyra, apparently going to the Bay - eventually,” she muses, adding on the part about the Bay with a touch of disdain. She did not like this idea of being treated like property, and if he tried he’d see a side of her that she had not really wielded much. We’ll see about that.

“So, what brings a guy like to a place like this?” Leyra asks, with a grin and a bright shine to her eyes as she regards him with a curious expression.
