He just stares at her as she looks at him so defeated. He remembers the time he thought he would lose Vita Nova. The pain was as real as a physical wound, but she had recovered and was still here with him. If his Queen would have died that day giving birth to Brunhild he might be a different stallion than the one that calmy talks to the grieving Ylva. She was heavily pregnant so she would need to get out of this rut in order to safely birth her foal.

If she even wanted to live anymore that is. It takes a while for her to say anything, but when she does he could barely hear her. White ears flick forward, but he got the just of what she was trying to get across. He nods before his lips part to answer her horrors with words. "Of course I know. I could smell the stink of a new stallion from the Inlet and seeing you here alone confirms it. Liland truly has left the islands." He ponders what it might have been that actually caused the Fjord to finally leave everything behind.

Was it the drama between Zjeena and Rougaru? The constant battles? Or had he caught wind that Warsaw was working on evicting him from Tinuvel? Now he would have a whole new problem to deal with if this new stallion didn't agree to him ruling the island. He would save that drama for when he was fully recovered.

"You are heavy with child and you are in need of somewhere safe to stay to build up your strength for the birth. The Inlet is open to you though I doubt you'll enjoy the idea of living under me again. I'm sure Torsten would like to see you and meet his new sibling when its born. He is going to be a father, too, ya know." The shots were just firing towards Ylva today. He wonders if she even knew the love affair going on between her son and Tauri. She would be even more delighted when she learned they were related to each other.
