Rarely have I been disappointed in someone I held in high respect than Mattis in his tirade. Of course, I still regard his former militrary service as outstanding. He's crossed a line he should never have crossed. If he could not respect the president, he should have remained silent. His views, which he has a right to believe, are not gospel when it comes to the Constitution. His analogy to Nazism and Trump are appalling, totally out of place and misguided. Senility has to have come into play--I hope.
