Aponi's companion had been him. He'd brought her here initially. Even with the leave though; Aponi had remained. Why go elsewhere when you'd initially fallen in love with the world around you? Her surroundings were something in a peaceful setting. Aponi liked that. There is no want to go elsewhere and do it all over again. Finding new faces and a new home? Aponi was tired of wandering and of travelling. This was home and she'd had no intention of that changing were she permitted to remain. Clearly the others around were willing to befriend her. Aponi saw no ill in their nature toward a stranger that they did not know but realized lived here too.
Aponi does not know many but hopefully before long that can change. She is not unwilling that is. Aponi was slow to turn her attention to others but realized it had been the only way. She'd taken a bold step in the right direction and been met only with kindness so far. Perhaps the other greetings would go as well? One could only hope for the best and try right? It wasn't like she had a moment where time was running out. She had plenty of time and patience on the path forward from here. She had only to take the bull by the horns and lead those steps to doing so. Right?
"I have not come across another whom has a fear of water before." Aponi is not harsh in this realization though. Curious was more a better description for it. "Is there a particular reasoning to why Creed? As did something happen when you were younger to deter your warmth toward the sea?" Aponi knew that there could be all sorts of reasons and she is curious honestly. Perhaps getting to the bottom of why could then lead them in the direction of coming to a answer to changing that fear. One whom feared could in time learn otherwise. Patience was required and Creed needn't worry on Aponi having that. She is willing to help a friend in need as it were. Replies:
