She didn't know what she expected when she marched right into the meadow, but she wasn't expecting to come across another arabian so soon. In her former herd, the breed made up the majority of the herd but she didn't think the rest of the world was like that. In a way, she was disappointed not to get to see the other variations of horse that live in the world, but there was plenty of time for that. In the meantime, she could make friends among her own, right? The bay sabino mare seemed nice who called out to her before approaching and Corona stopped to wait as the other got closer. Her eyes took in the bay mare, her thin nostrils flaring to taste her scent as she offered her dished face in greeting to the other female. The mare seemed docile and content, something that intrigued Corona instantly.

What was she so happy about? The mare smelled of sand and other arabians, of a herd environment and the grey mare felt her chest tighten with wanting the safety of a herd for herself as well. Sure, she ran from one, but only because she didn't like the future they laid out for her. She wanted to choose her own, so a new herd could come with that, right? The first words from the other mare were in Arabic and Corona smirked, her eyes lighting up at the sound of her first language. She dipped her head politely. "Waealayk 'aydana." She responded. The mare then gave her name as Sayyida and Corona pricked her ears to listen. "Pleasure to meet you, Sayyida. I am Corona." As the mare offered to walk beside her, Corona smiled and made her pace easy and yet still graceful, as that was her usual walk anyway. Her friends used to say she seemed to glide everywhere she went, like her hooves never touched the ground.

She thought of it as her gift and boy, did she love to flaunt it. As Sayyida spoke again, the dapple mare flicked an ear to her and listened as she said it was nice to see another out and around. She had to assume by People, the mare meant an arabian. When she asked if she lived here, Corona snorted and tossed her head with a short laugh. "Hardly. I only just arrived in the Crossing, to be honest. What about you?" Interest consumed her as she listened for Sayyida's answer. The place she lived must be magical.
