With an innocent heart, she loves

Eness
..mare..five..arabian..black rabicano..15.1 hh..

Had her words been so riddled that Atair did not see she was complimenting himself and not the beloved moon goddess? Perhaps she should have kept her eyes on him when saying it, given him her full undivided attention, but dare she risk the wrath of the slumbering mare just beyond where they stand?

“But Allat does not possess you," she chances the risk, the thin line she walks wavering with her sweet playful words, for what harm could come from a little tease now and then. She finds it hard to break her gaze, her gentle gaze touching on the postured way he holds himself; away from her. He too then feared Eness for what she was and didn't know she was, a wicked temptress dead set on bringing men to their knees. Her Sakhmet called her beautiful once, and had even praised her looks so unlike her own. Their views were so different, Sakh and hers, each considering the other to be most wonderfully blessed in looks. The shifting sounds of the others below has her finally looking away to look upon the various forms of bodies, only to bring her gaze right back with the words that tumble out of Atair’s mouth.

“ill sleep?,” she echoes out loud, her face surely showing her confusion as she tilts it sideways, examining her companion under the moonlight for a brief second as if he were joking. “Is it wrong for a lady to be out for a midnight stroll then Atair, to stretch my legs and perhaps join you as you traverse the stars above?”, Eness takes a step forward, intending to move in his direction but instead moves to slip past him, allowing her hooves to take her a few paces away before stopping and looking over her slender sloping back to his still form, her irritation evident with the snap of her back tail against her legs and lowered ears; the look of a clearly pissed off mare ruled by her emotions.

“Your helpfulness is displaced Atair, so eager to run off on an errand away from me. Am I really that bad at company, or is it my lady you fear? She is asleep for now, a rare chance for me to see the world out from under her wing,” Eness faces him down, allowing him a chance to explain himself before she decides to go on her own adventure. She was not so naive and anger ridden to just storm off.

she walks in beauty, like the night
of cloudless climes and starry skies;
