Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Mother Goose is just a fairy-tale

Yes, his scent had been smothered all over the Bay. It had been his. It had been nice. He'd been angry to have lost it, but he had amended his ways. She had bested him after all. They had fought fair enough and Valka had come out on top. She had then allowed him to remain. They had started anew and he'd meant it. He'd regretted how he'd been so cross. This time though?

This was not going to be amended. This anger was placed well enough and it was true. There was anger and much of it. Goose was not here to become this Boss's ally. There is no friendship here and he had no intention of that becoming so. Not with this one. Favor was not going to be earned by Goose to this Cullen. No sir! Wrong move buddy. If one took from others and made prisoners? Well they should expect tense air and anger. Grumpy did not even begin to describe this feeling. This was something entirely different. Were he insane then he might have laughed about this. He might have seen this with such a humor. That was not the case however. There is no insanity and there won't be. This one had a clear mind. Yes, he did.

Goose watches him as he approaches. There would be no growth of fondness for the Lagoon. It was stuffy and shadowy. It held a darkness that was not inviting to Goose at all. His ears sunk slightly into his thick strands that made up his mane. Lips parted as ivories were bore in dislike. Of course he had left the decision up to his Loire. He wouldn't have dreamed of bringing her along here if she didn't want it. He had their child to protect after all. He must protect them both and that is why they were not here with him now. What fool would bring their family along by force? This was no place for a mare to willingly be against their pleasure. No way!

Words are heard from Cullen and he listens. He had no choice after all. Rich chocolate eyes steady on the other and did not falter. Ears pitched up a little more to better hear the Lagoon Boss. Throwing a temper tantrum was something he was doing, but it was well placed. "Now wouldn't that be your fault?" There is a sneer as he spat the words out and then pushed his nose forward quickly. Ivories peel from behind lips again as his jaws part. The air just inches from the stallion's own face snapped with the clashing of his ivories back together. A warning? Perhaps. It wasn't like Cullen hadn't brought this anger upon himself. Take what is not yours to take and you would not be met with pleasantries. Far from it really.

"She does not need to be subjected to this foulness." He stated in an annoyed mannerism. The last part of the other's words left him quiet for a moment or two. Those eyes staring on the other as though boring straight through to his soul. There is no pleasantries for this one in his eyes. There is a mild moment of question though and why not make sure he knew what the other had meant. "Train? Why would one want to train with someone they held no like for?" He falls quiet a moment more then and sneers. "What could you possibly offer me?" He is quiet then. Watching and waiting. What could Cullen possibly say to appease to Goose? He didn't think it possible of course. There is no love lost here between them. There hardly would be. One could perhaps think there was a small pinch of appease to have. That would all be up to Goose really though to take the bait and bite down.

Only if Cullen could tempt him or at the very least; intrigue him. Goose had not had that happen yet though. Would it? Time might tell or it might not. He merely stood there now with a mild expression of boredom while he waited. Hurry up now boy. What did he want with Goose?
