Sigur�r's life up until this point has been full of turmoil and strife. War. Death. He can feel the pain as it sits within his soul - a festering sliver - that on some occasions rears its ugly head. And today is one of those days where he feels it threatening his peace.

He swishes his tail grumpily across his haunches. Most days there is a happiness on his lips as he smiles and jokes... but today where a smile usually is there is an apparent scowl. His dark eyes waver atop his head and warn off anyone who dares to approach his secluded peace beneath the branches of an ancient oak tree. He glowers out at the passing horses, and takes no interest in their journeys nor their drama.

He misses the way that things used to be. He misses Siobhan. He misses Roisin. He misses Isabel. He stomps his hoof. Why did it all change?

With a jerk of his head he turns his attention out toward the milling horses and watches each of them. There was a change in the air - the mares scent more potent than usual - and there is a strange stir within himself.

He growls loudly as he pushes himself from the beneath the shadows of the Oak tree and out into the crowed. He hardly takes 4 steps when a filly almost collides with him. His ears disappear beneath his thick gnarled mane and his mouth falls agape as he snaps at her. "Watch where you are going girl!"

But as the realization of her age sinks in, there is a pang of guilt. He clears his throat and his ears appear from beneath his unkempt mane. "I'm sorry... I am Sigur�r, " he pauses as he looks up and around "Are you all alone?"
