The landscape of the Bay blurred out of surface as an approaching figure drew his attention. Zevulun�s ears tipped forward as he watched the dark golden and black mare approach. She was little, though not surprisingly so. Her approach, while mildly cautious (he noticed how much space she kept between them) seemed rather friendly.

Zevulun smiled at her question, then realized how he must look. He glanced down his body, lifting one leg out of the cold surf and then slowly lowering it again. The chill stung and a shiver crawled over his body before he walked forward, getting himself out of the ocean. He didn�t want to close space between them and make her more nervous, so he turned a little and walked diagonally, making sure he kept a good cushion of space for her but got himself out of the water.

�No, I�m not lost, sorry. I just�� He took a breath and looked around them, sighing. Something in his heart felt right being here again.

His ice-blue eyes slowly swung back around and landed on her again. He had the decency to look a bit sheepish. She was waiting for him to tell her why he was a stranger who�d washed up in her home, not watch him struggle to comprehend seeing the Bay again. �Sorry,� he cleared his throat and slightly bowed his head before tossing his wet forelock back and steadying his attention back on her. �I was born and raised here in the Bay, I haven�t been here in almost eight years� it�s a bit to take in.� He smiled, then thought to add, �I don�t mean to trespass, I live on Luthien in the Prairie.� Just in case she worried he was coming to try and take his home back and displace her or anything like that. �I was hoping to possibly ally myself with whoever leads the Bay.�

Zevulun was sure she would clarify for him just who that was. She didn�t quite hold herself like the one who governed this territory, but she could always be new to it.
