Perseus disliked the meadow. Not for it's over-abundance of horses or the sweet grasses. Perseus simply found himself lonely each time he left the scent of salt behind. His fiery red appearance was a stark contrast to some of the bright blue waters surrounding the islands, but they were apart of him nonetheless. He'd reclaimed his existence with a new name, even if his face was the same. Perseus moved with surprising grace as he trotted across the flower-dotted meadow. Every so often he would drop his head to snatch a bite of too-sweet grass. Eyes of the bluest skies scanned the immediate area, doing just as much work as his forward tipped ears. The sound of a commotion and the sound of retreating birds stopped him mid-step. He swung his head in the direction of Vadim, tilting his head curiously.

The sea, his beautiful sea; she'd have to wait.

He picked up the same jaunty trot, this time in the direction the birds had come from. When he draws closer he finds two large divots in the soft earth. They are undoubtedly hoofprints, but as Perseus places his own foot inside, it is clear this horse is far larger than him. Despite his desire to return to the shore and leap into the shallows, his curiosity was getting the better of him. He set off again, finally finding Vadim in his sights. His eyes widened and he slowed to a walk. It was clear, even at a glance, that the other was distressed. Perseus didn't fancy himself a therapist, but it would be cruel to simply turn around.

"Are you alright?" He asks, furrowing his brow and taking a few more steps closer.
