Re(1): Combination of events

I knew there were insufficient answers on the broadcast board. Guess I shoudl have gone searching before I speculated. Sorry. I then checked 3 tv stations websites. 9 had nothing, the story by Saturday was bad weather prevented a parade for the young cop who responded to a mutual-aid request out in Lenexa, couple really bad people did a Bonnie and Clyde and JOCO police (the small bergs that make up the many jurisdictions) called for multiple departments to come a running over this car chase. Sad. So was this a clusterfuck response? Still not enough details were on the TV media websites by Saturday morning...certainly not enough to know why a young cop from Fairway got shot. Would it have been different if NE JOCO had one consolidated police dept with centralized crisis management and dispatching by officers trained to work together, preferably with helicopter support while police mustered up the correct strategic response to these bad asses? Do police chases usually turn out well, or just sometimes? Dunno but I suspect a parade wont prevent the next one. Maybe KCTV's well-publicized "I-team" will look into how this bad ass from Tennessee ended up in JOCO with guns blazing and a Fairway cop dies during the area police response. Would it have been better had the whole thing happened in a big cities' turf, like Kansas City's with the resources and training, and command & control to end it safely?
