Glitch… When the color drains to black I rise with the Glitching sun.(Mae)

Darkness, it was a beautiful thing to those of a young age. The stars were bright in the night and the moon was full, what humans would call a hunters moon during a certain time of year. The silver rays however basked a seal bay filly in its glorious light as she sucked from her mother. The soft sound of smacking was silenced though as a howl rang before a series of them infiltrated the air. New to the world, the filly did not know that with her and her mother alone that only one of them would be making it out. Their silent night was ruined in that moment and the sound of her mother screaming for her to run had the three month old filly running through the grass as fast as her spindly legs would go while her mother tried her best to beat off the ones out for her fresh blood.

A scream, that was all the filly heard as her mother fought behind her. It had the gurgling sound that in later years the filly would learn was the death rattle, but for now she thought her mother would follow. Her small frame bolted over the ground with speed she should not have as adrenaline forced its way through her blood stream. It was white hot and tingled with her tiny muscles bulging and then flexing out as she strode forward like there was Death on her tail. However, she did not know until a moment later just how close death really was to taking her to the underworld.

Yelping, the filly jerked as teeth latched onto a back leg. Her body went rolling as she screamed her own cry and rolled down a hill. The wolf and her both rolled, but a pained cry from a canine entered her ears just as water swallowed her body hole. She felt broken, her body having rolled a ways before she was forced to swim. Her body was not trained for this, but she did her best to keep herself moving towards the surface as the oceans currents pulled her farther and farther away from her birth place. Her mother was not coming, that she could see through the salt licked water that was going to be her grave, or so death thought before the moon seemed to change her direction.

Slowly did a few weeks go by, but the filly found herself on a set of islands with her body shivering. She was supposed to still nurse, but there was no way for her to do that. Pulling herself from the ocean on wobbly legs, Divinity Rising as her mother had named her dragged herself towards a waterfall. She had never seen one before, but her body rested beside it as she nibbled grass. Her leg had a series of scabs on it from the wolf bite, but nothing was broken. She had a messed up tendon, but she would grow with it and it would grow with her. Laying there though, Divinity looked to see if anyone would be coming to tell her where her mother was.
