Nahawi
stallion | 16.2hhs | red dun | of the lagoon

DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO TRUTH.

Rising from the ocean with his tail lashing, the red dun stallion named Nahawi looked at the Luthien territory. He had been trying to get to the Forest, to check on his daughter, but he ended up somewhere else. His blue eyes peered through the forest that covered this section of land, but the scent of Bacardi did not reach his nostrils. Instead, the stallions brows furrowed a second before he pulling a breath through the salt encrusted water that latched onto his frame. He was trying to peg who was here, but instead the red dun had no idea who led this place and he was curious if he could get to the Forest territory from here.

Raising his head to look at the sky, Nahawi noticed that the sky was dark, almost dreary. His ears tucked tight to his head before the thunderous boom of thunder rocked the land he stood on. The stallion was not afraid of much, but when the thunder rocks and hail suddenly fell, the stallions body moved faster than he had thought possible with the ankle injury he was still nursing.

Shaking his head as the hail pelted the ground, Nahawi found himself trying to shake the hail that was striking him heavily. He could feel every ball of it latch onto his fur before running down off of his body as it melted. The pieces that hit others on him bounced off, but the sheer weight and power behind the little ice balls had the stallion grunting and cursing with every broken stride into the cover. His back leg was not holding up so well, but he did his best to escape the downpour and finally found himself in the tree’s.

Looking around with a heavy breath had the stallions ears perking as he hid in the tree’s the hail becoming less of an issue. He needed to get out of here, but he knew others could be stranded out in this place. The urge to protect overcame the stallion and with a raised head, Nahawi sent out his call to see if anyone was lost and could not get to the herd leader. He might be a Lagoon brother, but the safety of the herd members here was far more important than the hatred they saw of his home… hopefully.
