Flicking ears of red tipping forward, Nahawi looked out over the ocean. His blue eyes flickered faintly as he let his daughter rest against his shoulder and side. The filly had begged him not to go, but the red dun knew he needed to. There were so many islands out there, one he had never seen. Nahawi wanted to make allies and with him being on okay terms with the leaders here in Atlantis, he was setting his sights upon Salem. He would work his way through Luthien next and ask the three remaining leaders there for an alliance. Bacardi had helped him so much over the past seasons and he would never be more grateful to that stallion than he already was.

Nuzzling Amarinora, Nahawi softly nudged her towards Launch, the Clydesdale mare the one taking care of his daughter now. ”Please behave for Launch.” Nahawi softly spoke, the large bay mare now coming their way. He watched again as his daughter was taken from him, but he was not the one walking away this time. Holding back a tear filled smile, Nahawi shook his head with how full his heart was. He got his daughter, he got his love, and he got a home. Nahawi may have left the Lagoon and ruined everything he had tried for there, but he would be okay now considering he got to raise his daughter and watch her turn into the fabulous horse he knew she would be.

Turning his head and heading into the water, Nahawi let the ocean curl around his legs as he trudged as deep as he could before swimming. His muscled legs kicked and pushed through the water, his head held up and his ears tucked to keep the water out of their depths. He was thankful to go where he was going, to have what he had now. His “brothers” had never really tried to help him and he was most thankful for the fact Aase had told him so. It was a nice change from what he had and with that knowledge locked tight in his heart and held with a soft caress, the red dun swam.

After some time and the day turning to night, Nahawi landed upon the shores of Salem. His legs faintly trembled from fighting the ocean’s currents during his swim, but the red dun held his head high and proud as the warm desert winds curled around his body. His ears perked forward and his mane and tail faintly twisted towards his right, their strands dancing with the wind as he pulled in a deep breath that expanded his lungs and set him at peace. Currently he was on the beach of the territory known as the Dunes and he would take that as his first mission, his first territory to speak with.

Licking his lips, Nahawi stepped just far enough up the beach that the ocean could not lick at his hocks. His blue eyes shot to the cloudless sky and saw all the stars. Smiling, he took a breath and finally sent his call to the lead here. Nahawi did not know their name or their gender. It was all up to the fates on who Nahawi would meet and how this interaction would go.
