Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

f there was anything in this world that Lucifer hated the most, it was the stallion standing before him. Blood shot eyes locked onto Garmr with his blood boiling. The boss had come to his aid, but with words that had the eighteen hand beast wanting to lung forward. He and the boss were the same size, but there was one thing Garmr had on Luci and it was experience. It would not be much longer before Luci was as strong as Garmr, but he would never had the same experience. Life had given Garmr more to learn from and Lucifer knew it was his fault for hiding in the shadows, but right now the black beast wished that he had not. If he could take on Garmr with equal training and strength, he would certainly do so and laugh in the face of death.

Dropping the piece of skin and fur, Lucifer let his jaws close as his teeth ground together. Every part of his being was aching to speak, to tell this stallion before him just what he thought. Lucifer had been stolen, left to find a territory, andt hen returned. He would much rather be a force against Garmr than one with him. The islands, be as they may, were not fearful enough of what this bog held and Lucifer was growing far to tired of it all to even want to be here. Yet, he had escaped to this sickening place and would rest here and build his strength. There was one thing Lucifer knew deep down he was good at and that was his inability to let a prey item go. No matter how hard things got, the stallion would one way or another get what he wanted. Romaro was on his list and so was Marceline… Did Garmr not realize that he was working his way up to there? Did the Lagoon boss really think that no one would actually usurp him once the chance arose? It gave the black beast something to think about, but no words left his lungs in that moment.

Chewing over everything that was said, Lucifer held back the grin he so wanted to wear. There was no loyalty here, there never had been. He had voted for Garmr to remove Nahawi, but that was all. Garmr was useless to Lucifer and it had shown in every single action that stallion had given until this point. If Lucifer was to be completely honest, it would be that he hated this place with a passion. Every stallion in here acted like a useful pawn in a losing game of chess. Yet, if one were to look over the past few seasons since he had actively begun to work around here, one would notice a simple little fact. Lucifer had done the most out of everyone in this god forsaken burning village.

For the time being though, Lucifer stayed silent and watched the stallion before him. Did he want to fall in line? No. Was it the only way to be free once and for all from the Peak? Yes. With that all in mind, the black stallion just let his frame stand like a statue. He neither confirmed nor denied what he was going to do, but he had yet to actively go forth with the one thing he really wanted. Lucifer had behaved this far… so why should he have to act like a little dog on its back for this stallion? Holding in a breath, Lucifer waited as his silence said enough. Would Garmr continue to assist him, or would he be sent back considering he said not a single word?
