A cry for help Posted on July 7, 2024 at 05:29:03 AM by Loralei
It was unknown how long she'd been walking. Moving in an unknown direction not knowing what she needed to find. All she knew was fear that drives her forward. The reason she couldn't stop to settle her growling stomach or wet her severly cracked lips. Oh how she wished to take a break. Just a nap for her heavy eyes and her burning legs. If only she knew a place safe enough.
The skinny blue painted foal continues through the Thicket until she spots the stallion approaching from ahead. Quickly she ducks and finds cover around a thick bush. The filly get low to the ground until her legs were tucked underneath her small frame. Though it felt nice to lay on the ground like this, the situation was still too dramatic. Something told her she had to slow her breathing as the stallion drew closer. She was nearly holding her breath when he stops.
Curious eyes watch through leaves as the stallion seems to look around above her before turning away. Suddenly, a new feeling spreads itself in her chest. She didn't know why, but something in her body was calling out to this stallion. She felt...safe. The filly couldn't get up fast enough (mainly because of weakness in her legs), but she finally manages to stand and walk out of her hiding place. She could hear the stallion call as he walked away. Her heart begins to pound as she steps after him. "Please," She says weakly. The blue filly makes it a couple more steps before collapsing onto the Forest floor. Replies:
