ush rested with the rain, her eyes closed and the storm high above her frame. She could not hear anything around her in the monsoon of a rain storm, but he was content with that. Her large frame with all the hair was in need of a good bath. The peak was honestly too cold most of the time for a good rain to even capture her attention and the ocean's salt water was more likely to send her into a rash if she used it a whole bunch. With the rain cascading from the heavens though and it being clean, she let the water cleanse her body of mud and debris.
Hearing a voice after a while though, the large mare opened her eyes and turned to face a stallion. He was lighter in color and built much like her, but his words were fumbled and it drew a faint chuckle from her lungs. Her amber eyes danced with humor as she lowered her head in a faint bow. “Its nice to meet you, Calder of the Ridge.” Her tone was kind and feminine, but she held nothing else to mark her separate from other mares. She was built thick and packed it well, but for all intents and purposes, Hush was a standard shire cross that took a bit more white than she really should have.
“My name is Hush Hush, but you may call me Hush.” Her own name was long, but that was okay. She packed it with pride and aimed to one day actually be worthy of the double name. Tilting her head though as the rain fell from the sky, she raised a brow.
“What has you in the commons when you belong to a herd?” Hush knew a bit about the islands, but not enough to truly understand what the commons was. She was more or less expecting a lagoon or peak member to come get her, not a herd stallion.
