Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

If there were a way to look incredulous, Daffodil managed it. It was the most emotion she�d shown on her face since being forced to the Lagoon by that black behemoth of a beast she never saw again. She stared at him with unhidden surprise mixed with irritation, mouth forming half gasp, half grimace. That anger that bubbled up inside her when Isengrim came sniffing around stirred inside her again. She remembered how emboldened she had felt when she was angry and able to snap back at him. How powerful and in control she had felt.

So, apparently her fight did still exist.

Daffodil managed to work her features quickly enough away from their shock, though a dry laugh still came out. Her head lifted somewhat, no longer held a bit lofty and low, like her neck hadn�t been strong enough to hold it upright. There was even just a small bit of life back in her eyes. When she spoke, though, her tone was dry and level. �And why would I want that? I can�t stand any one of you Lagoon bachelors.� Though she only called him what he was, Daffodil seized on that anger inside her and let it take over the word as if it were the worst thing she could ever think to call him.
