I'll let my hunger take me there;

She doesn't miss home so much as she misses the warmth of the sun on her back. Here when the sun dares to peer through the heavy fog, it is cold and distant. Eventually a coat of thick fur begins to grow and the sleek golden shine of her hide gives way to snow covered fur. She's never seen snow like this. On rare occassion a skiff of snow has dusted the highest of the canyons in the Badlands but she has never had to break new trail. Never had to navigate ground she hasn't been able to see clearly. Here the snow drifts over nothing - over holes that would swallow her whole and never let her go. She is sometimes fascinated by the thought that she could just disappear. She's not sure anyone would miss her. Fell hasn't paid her much mind - not since driving her here from the Badlands. She isn't sure how she feels about that. About any of this really.

Logically she knows she is old enough to leave her natal band. And with the amount of times she's seen Fell and Raegar fight, it makes sense that eventually eyes would fall on her or her mother. Still, she had been surprised when that day finally came.

She misses the desert and she misses her family. But the Bay isn't so bad. Nights like tonight she is free to wander where she will. She doesn't try to leave. Where would she go? That is not so much a thought for her though. Either Raegar will come back for her or he won't. She is of age now and he is her mother's stallion and as close to a dad as she's ever had. She isn't in danger here except for maybe freezing to death or maybe falling into one of those Coin sized holes. But the Badlands are dangerous as well.

Coin sighs and stamps a hoof on a dried branch. It breaks with a satisfying crack and she continues on her way. Only she suddenly isn't alone anymore. With a jolt of surprise Coin stops.

"Oh," she breathes as she tries to make out the figure in the moonlight. A young girl with muscles as taut as bowstrings.

"Are you lost?" Coin asks concerned.
