Re(4): New Year's Wishes

More worthless noise from a cube, You have only had jobs, not a career like your daddy wanted you to do. You wasted an education to sit in a cube, but the reality is you are a cube dweller, unable to commit to a career you sat in a cube for years. No real knowledge of broadcasting working only the lowest of low position, news slugs are the first to be laid off, no real need for news from a cube. You were never invited to go behind the conference room doors to discuss and plan for the success of whatever station hired you to fill a slot.

“Just saying” is a common phrase you have probably heard someone utter before, usually after you say something offensive, mean spirited, or otherwise negative. It’s a dismissive phrase and a person uses as an attempt to get out of the consequences of the words you just spoke. The takeaway here is that “just saying” is a way to dismiss a person’s feelings and absolve the speaker of any blame for their hurtful words. It “allows” that person to basically say whatever you want without fully owning how their words will affect the person you’re speaking to.
