Standing in the darkness with the storm raging overhead, Rutger licks his lips as the rain falls down his face. Hard drops pelt against his head as his body shivers faintly, not used to the rain just yet. It had been muggy in a way with bunches of bugs here in the Lagoon, but he would rather them over this rain that seemed to penetrate into his bones. With a shuddering sigh, the greying stallion shifted his head with his eyes about to close when they caught on something.
Narrowing his gaze, the stallion watched as the mare he could hardly call notable and her foal fled the bog. His ears perk forward as they get a bit ahead of him, but he moves before they can totally be out of sight. With the storm, Rutger knew that they would be gone if he dared not keep track, so nothing left his lips as he followed. If he gave a call, she would hear over the storm and run faster. Garmr would know though, as the boss generally knew when something went amiss here in the Lagoon to begin with.
Following her farther and farther until they hit the Meadow, a grin curls his lips when he spots another body farther off. Shaking out his body, the stallion moves from the foliage with a chuckle escaping his lungs and throat. “Fret not… she is not running away very well.” Smirking at the stallion from the commons, the lagoon boy sets his gaze upon Emmerson. “A wee bit far from home aren't you not?” Continuing to move forward, Rutger gets close enough to scent above the storm, but not to be kicked as he peels his gaze from the mare and to the stallion. “This flower should head back home, don't you agree? Taking things or offering them places that they do not belong isn't quite nice.” Ah, kinda hypocrite with the things he had done in his past… don't ya think?
