"Gods that feels good," the petite buckskin groaned as she rolled back and forth on a patch of dry soil. Tufts of dislodged cream and brown fluff littered the ground with smaller pieces floating away on the gentle spring breeze. The patch that she'd chosen was high enough and sun-facing, so the ground itself was warm and comfortable and oh so good at removing the last bits of her uncomfortable winter hair. The rest of her had slicked out weeks ago, but her shoulders had remained uncomfortably warm and hairy.

Until now.

Heaving a big sigh, she tucked her feathered limbs beneath her and then lurched upright and shook the rest of her body off, refusing to bother looking around her while she shook herself out. She'd spent the better part of last year in the Commons, and so she didn't believe that this trip would be all that much different. She hadn't been approached yet which - so far as she was concerned - was practically proof that she was right.

She was still invisible, somehow.

Flicking the curly strands of her tail against her haunches, Avarice cast her imperious brown gaze over the mess she'd made and then left it behind with a satisfied smirk. It already felt better to have her shoulders free, although if she were honest, she would have much rather gotten rid of it with the help of some attractive creature to scratch her back while they scratched hers.

But alas, still invisible.

When no one was immediately visible, she huffed another sigh and then lowered her dusky muzzle to the ground to graze. This was probably a wasted trip, if she were honest, but she had promised herself she would at least try again this year and see if the curse was still sticking around.
