With a nod, the tired mare tried taking a step forward. Swaying slightly she was glad the silver stallion was beside her when she nearly lost her balance, bumping into his side being the only thing keeping her standing.

With slow steps she moved in the direction the stallion, Canis he’d said his name was. Regaining a tiny bit of strength with every step they took. By the time they had reached the small pool he’d indicated to she was mostly walking unaided.

Dropping her head to drink she closed her eyes as the cool water hit her parched and salt stung throat. Drinking deeply she knew she would need to drink often for a short time, the sea water would dehydrate her quickly but hopefully she would be allowed to stay here, at least until she had recovered.

With her thirst satisfied she lifted her head with a sigh. Thank you she said, her voice stronger this time. You have no idea how much your assist has meant to me. Pausing briefly, every part of her ached and was tired, even her voice felt tired. My name is Hellfyre she said with a small smile. I got turned around in the water, I’m not sure how long I’d been been in there for but I got caught in some swells and struggled to keep my head above water. Her eyes drooped slightly, whatever energy the water had given her running out fast I think I probably swallowed half my weight in sea water she said with a small grin.
