Bubbles
mare | 15.2hhs | buckskin blanket | daughter of the sea

With summer close to an end and fall working on creeping through the air, it caused some horses to be a bit more frisky. The cooler air allowed them to buck and rear, to play around in the tall grasses that were tinged in tan and speaking of the dry season. The bright sun was not quite as hot nor was the breeze just as warm. The cooling tendrils of a later season added to the spunk that a buckskin blanket mare felt. Her thick neck arched as her front hooves stomped upon the soil after a rather high rear. Muscles flexed under the skin of her haunches. Bright blue eyes gleam in the late summer sun, a spark in their depths as the lone peak mare plays in the meadows tall grasses.

Landing hard with her front legs, Bubbles bucked. Thick cords of muscle on her shoulders extended and bulged, showing the effort she was putting into her little game. She was currently frolicing with another foal, one that was born in the meadow this spring. The chestnut mare had returned from where she now lived in search of someone, but Bubbles did not care. Her little friend was back and it showed as the thick young mare played with a foal of this year. They were having fun, getting some much needed energy out. It all ended in time though and as Bubbles watched the chestnut mare and the young colt leave, her happy feelings slowly ebbed away until that dark and nasty temper flared once more.

Tossing her head, the young mare snorted. She wanted more friends, but as her head turned towards the peak, she just glowered. Right now it was toxic up there, that much she knew. After the Lagoon boss showed up and everyone else went to talk to him, she just vanished. Taking a route to escape a demon of her past, the mare just hid in the meadow. After the large scar left upon her haunch from Lucifer, she would never be seen fraternizing with someone from the Lagoon. At least, that was what she told herself before her head turned to the sound of quiet foot falls. “You can show yourself before I take drastic measures.” Yep, prickly as a cactus without any tact.
