Regretfully, the pair-mutuel format with quiniela play so enjoyed by millions has been on a progressive decline for approximately 40 years. Current gaming trends show no replacement of the parimutuel bettor with most trends moving past on-site venues to online & handheld formats. PMW events are literally not fast enough to hold the interest of the emerging gaming public. Adaption wherever we can is key. Battle Court was always conceived as being separate from the Quiniela / PMW option / style of play. Fortunately it is growing (slowly) in popularity.
