The replies seem to miss the esoteric nature of your question. I picture the Star Trek episode where everyone on the "other" Enterprise is evil, etc.
In the parallel universe, Stu is the greatest American player ever. There are billboards on I-95 of him, and he is treated like royalty all over town. Joey, who never quite made it as a pro, runs Magic City.
Benny is still really good, but the rivalry with Stu is intense and they really don't like each other.
With the massive success of American jai alai, Benny owns Dania, and the fronton is sold out almost every night with about eight thousand people.
Miami is also sold out most every night.
Sports talk radio devotes a bunch of time to jai-alai, interviews players, etc. As a result, attendance for the Heat, Panthers, and Dolphins is not that great, and there are often TV blackouts.
In this parallel universe, not everything changed. Still no one goes to Marlin games, except when Stu goes out to throw the first pitch.
