Re(2): What is this? Interference? Bad Form? A New Trick to use?

Cutting in front of someone about to make a catch and then visually blocking them shouldn't be allowed. What if everyone started doing that, it would make for a very sloppy and unsafe game.

I'm assuming Rastock made that call and I'm not trying to take anything away from him, he has more knowledge and experience than mostly everyone on this site combined. If anyone would know if it's allowed, then he would.

I just think it could lead to a tactic where players start to frequently do that to win a point and that would not be good.

Why has this not been a common thing in the past? Were players on the honor system not to do that or was it considered bad sportsmanship? A definite explanation would be welcomed.
