To be more than a conqueror Posted on November 12, 2025 at 01:41:39 PM by Nicodemus
Dreamer was one he left alone. After bringing her to the Inlet and explaining the situation she seemed to have understood. He had only wanted to create the illusion that he was retaliating against Lir in order to return Citrus. Though it didn't seem like Nox was very moved so maybe Lir had made the right call. If Citrus was happier in the Praire he had no more quarrel over the topic.
He was surprised to find Dream still hanging around the Inlet. He would have thought she would have ran for the hills like Rhoxane had. Pyre had taken a liking to his charm, and the fact that he paid her attention, but his relationship didn't always start that way. Sometimes it took real work like it had with Rhoxane.
The calico stallion moves slowly through his home. His hooves crunch over fallen pines and dried leaves. Fall could sometimes bring the promise of new beginnings come spring. He had been lucky last spring with the birth of two healthy daughters. Not that he ever expected anything out of his mares, but foals always made him happy. Even when they were not his own.
A maidens call summons him to an open section of the Inlet. He arrives rather quickly galloping through his home until he reaches her. Legs slow until he can stop just a few steps away. "Dreamer?" He questions. "Is something wrong?" Honestly he was surprised she was still around. She could go anywhere and she chose to be here. Replies:
