The dark overo colt was full of life, made more so by the outing with his uncle. It had been his first proper swim and his first time to the mainland. His uncle had said he wanted to give his sister some peace from her rambunctious offspring and Rebel hadn't disagreed, mainly because he wanted to go on an adventure.
He and his mother had been invited to go live with his uncle in the harbour, his mother was more set on staying put but had given the yearling the choice of where he wanted to live. He loved his mother but the Arch was boring, he wanted to be with his uncle who he could play fight with and learn to grow up big and strong like him. However, the thought of not seeing his other every day made the youngster sad, event though his uncle had said he'd escort him back to the arch whenever he wanted, similarly hid mother had told him she would visit often enough he'd get sick of seeing her so much. Her light hearted teasing had brightened the boy's mood but it was still going to be a huge step.
So for now he was spending time with his uncle more and more in preparation for the move.
He was easily heard before he came crashing through the bushes, laughing and glancing back as he was, currently looking out for his uncle, he didn't see the other youngster until it was too later, crashing into him in a mangle of long leg that sprawled him on the floor.
A little sheepishly he got his legs untangled before springing to his feet I'm really sorry, I wasnt look where i was going. I didn't hurt you, did I? He asked, looking concerned.
It was at that moment that the white legged black stallion trotted more elegantly and controlled into view. He stopped short at the sight that greated him, blue eyes dancing between the two youngsters before he sighed, gaze going to the sky, because he couldn't say this was a one off occurrence. Replies:
