Same for half of the "command staff" on the fire side as well. We don't need deputy district chiefs, district chiefs, or assistant deputy commissioners. Why do we have so many tiers of mid-level managers? A single secretary could do all of their jobs. Let the BCs handle those responsibilities - the majority of BCs throughout the CFD average under three (3) total runs every 24-hours. That is ridiculous.
