Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

TITAN
mare | 17.0hh |grey (chestnut)| forest

Shifting her hooves and lowering her head, Titan quietly rested. Her soft eyes closed as her long tail lazily snapped against her hocks. It was cold, so the fluffing of her fur wasn't a far stretch. The thick winter coat held in some of the heat, but the quiet red mare didn't speak even as hooves came her way. One ear flicked at them, but she tuned out the scent she could inhale and tried not to show she was awake, but it was futile when he spoke.

Blinking open her eyes, she rolled the one closest to him in his direction. Licking her dark lips, she breathed slowly before smiling faintly. “I did.” She replied in a low murmur, her voice barely there as she looked away from him. “The stars are still as beautiful.” She wouldn't cry, she couldn't. Yet, her voice trembled as a lonely tear trickled from her eye and down her cheek. She should be here, she had felt it that night with him. Yet, now that she was here and he was checking on her, something gave in her chest as she slowly shook her head.

“You also made it.” She spoke a bit stronger this time, turning to face the stallion she had been friends with as kids. Scanning his frame, the chestnut mare hummed an appreciative sound, but an iron vault was slowly closing over her aching heart as the lagoon scent punched through her senses. “But… we can't meet like this again.” Was her last sentence to the boy turned man. Her sadness at that fact was evident, but unlike others here in the Peak, Titan would be stronger than them all.

She wouldn't fall for a lagoonie.
